Memories - When I was young

Recently I saw some Pokémon Movies - wow, they are really good. Even in my age of nearly 25 years (currently 24, but oh well, time won't stop) I can still just enjoy something which isn't dark, violent, or brutal in any way. Something which is just carefree, lovely or cute.
I had to do this Fanart of my "Fanseries" which began as I was young.
In the Movie The Rise of Darkrai was this very beautiful scene with the "oracion" (I think it's spelled like this) and besides that the music was great.
It inspired me to draw this probably last work for this year.

This image is about great gift of a good friend. A charizard which has no flame (and because of that it's skills are very weak), and a young boy who wants to do something special some day.

The boy once said to his charizard he named "Flämmchen" (a german name, translated it would be something like "flamelet", but in english "sparky" would fit better)

"Flämmchen, some day you, too, will have a flame. And it will shine ever brighter."


Well, as I wrote in the other Fanarts: As I was young, the series named Pokémon made me starting to draw. And when I first saw a Charizard I began to draw dragons and nothing else.
This has changed a bit (because I draw human characters, creatures and so on), but I love dragons and I never want to stop drawing them.
And I'll never stop to love this series. I don't understand people hating it because it's not dark, brutal, or something like that.
Growing up doesn't mean to turn ones back on something which once was loved in childhood (or it never was because some kids told it's "uncool".)
