Orbiter Bot Quick Drawing

A quick drawing for my sketches-folder. I forced myself to finish it within 2 hours (I am practicing to draw/paint faster). Actually I needed two hours and five minutes, but... well, it's okay.

I drew it entirely in Sketchbook Pro 2011. It's somehow more difficult than drawing in Photoshop for me, as the Sketchbook Pro Brushes react a bit less precise in movement (but you can get straighter lines because of it, they look less wobbly). I prefer to get every slightest movement into my brush, but drawing in Sketchbook is a good practice to draw the wished form with more concentration (per example a circle, or curved lines with curved detail are much easier in Photoshop because it recognizes more of the movement in my opinion - so you have to draw very carefully in Sketchbook. This is good because it helps to improve drawing every form with more precision). In Photoshop it's helpful to draw too because you have to draw everything with much concentration of having a steady hand - so I found out that Sketchbook is better for practicing drawing forms with much concentration, and Photoshop is very helpful to get a steady hand.
Drawing with both helps very much to improve.

So this is what I can do (also with some digital help like mirroring some parts) in two hours yet - I won't stop practicing and soon I will get my hands into production art. I want to do concept art for videogames some day, but I have to practice more in that specific way to be good enough.

This is also a very good thing to improve in everything - even if you want to be an illustrator without doing concept art, practicing it will help you to become a better artist.
