Selina Rhamoros

Selina was a magician and a close friend of a dragon, who taught her the rules of magic. She was also the mother of Syennara, one of my maincharacters in Forlorn Knights.
She fought the Dark Collector and seemingly was able to seal him away, but the full backstory is unknown to most people. Only the dragon, who is still alive, somewhere, knows more about it. It seems that Selina died as she used up her life energy. Sealing techniques can be quite exhausting, sealing a demonic entity might take one's life if the magical flow isn't balanced and used properly, but most importantly if not enough magical energy is available.

However, she was a very strong woman and one of the great old heroes in the prequel story.


This illustration is done for now. I changed the lighting situation and increased the colour saturation, and sharpness. Although I liked the smoother look as well, it looked too soft in Photoshop for my taste. Comparing it now... oh well. Regular issues a designer has to face.

I also try to have a broad variety of characters, so I am not aiming for visual stereotypes (although stereotypes do exist as well as all the other possible types of people).
