Silverfire

A personal work, finally finished after I began the drawing and first painting steps almost two months ago. Well, this will be a personal piece as it needs some explanations:

Silverfire, one of my female heroes, has a magical bow. So far so good - indeed she is able to shoot a magical arrow from any position, which is the reason she doesn't have to aim or to bend the bow with an arrow directly in the middle.

Also I always like to draw images showing "a moment of movement within a moment", which may cause "weird" perspectives or still images. Due to that reason those images will stay my personal work, as such kind of images may not be easy to understand for most of the viewers.
(Maybe you understand what I mean by doing the following - watch a movie and randomly stop the image - do you see what I mean with "weird" stills?)
The reason I always liked to do images like that is, that following the "rules" for images which are easy to understand for everyone - well, it's just boring to me.

Some more about her abilities:
With her thoughts she is able to control the flight course of her arrows, but she needs to concentrate a lot.


After I finished this piece it turns out to be a mixture of my "old" drawing/painting style and my "new" one.
Since I began to look at real anatomy and not trying to use comic-refs as my basic refs anymore, I finally understand my old mistakes. Though the image was already half finished, so I had to "destroy" parts of her to rebuild them, which was not possible for every part of the image - or else I would have to throw it away and restart from scratch. Anyways, I'll upload more of my female characters in future - but don't expect to see tits, don't expect to see "super models", or typical "female fantasy armor".
This will never happen - at least not with my personal work.

Soon I'll do a 100% actual image of her, as I said this painting has been started 2 months ago.
