Snake Warrior concept 3

More details and I went back to a little bit more brightness of the first concept. Also started to use some "oily" paintstrokes (just select the area, copy it on a new layer, then make it smaller, then again make it bigger - this smoothen the pixels somehow. Now use a layermask to "paint in" those oily parts were you want them to shine through) and painted some more details on the lower body-parts (there are some snake textures in it as well) too.

More detail as well as some touch ups for today. While working I noticed that my base colors from the first concept changed a lot, so I went back to my earlier concept in terms of color and brightness. But I lowered the contrast, put in more textures and painted more details on those rocks and the character.

But I quite like the brightness in the first concept, so I might bring some more brightness and contrast back when I do the final detailing-step and when I know that I won't change a lot more on this one.
